LESSON #
6
How you package your mini-course matters!
Pack it up! And suddenly… its packaging day!
Now, depending on your mini-course, this day may be light work or it may be a little more heavy. But I want to make sure there’s a day carved out in this week for you to take that content you’ve worked hard to create, and turn it into something fresh and ready for your learners!
“Packaging” your course really means readying it for your learners. Take it out of the drafts and make it real. Do you need to create slides or audio? Do you need to whip up a few graphics that you’ll drop into your Facebook group or emails? Do you need to record a video or two? Does your
guidebook look like the owners manual to a fridge? Time to spice that up!
At the end, QC your work! I like to go through everything from the eyes of a students before it gets any seal of approval. I always catch something that needs fixing in this step.
HOMEWORK
Time to style up your content to make it fully ready for your student’s to work through it. Just a little design and personality go a long way here.
Go through the entire process as a student to quality check your work, even if it feels simple or redundant!
